Who we are

echirie.com (“eChirie”, “we”) operates a rental marketplace and workspace for owners and tenants. Contact: office@echirie.com.

What we collect

Account data (name, email, phone), organization and property details you enter, rental and contract records, payment history you record, favorites, support messages, and technical logs needed to run the service (IP, browser, cookies for session).

Why we process data

To provide the platform, authenticate users, publish listings, support contracts and payments workflows, send transactional notices (e.g. rent due), improve security, and answer contact requests. Legal bases typically include contract performance and legitimate interests; where required we ask for consent (e.g. non-essential cookies).

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We may share data with infrastructure providers (hosting, email delivery) under processing agreements, or when required by law. Other users only see what you choose to publish (e.g. listing details).

Retention & rights

We keep data while your account is active and as needed for legal or accounting obligations. Under GDPR you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability, and you may lodge a complaint with your local authority (in Romania: ANSPDCP).

Signed-in renters can download or erase listing applications and inquiry messages from Profile, without deleting the whole account. Data already used for a lease may be retained in redacted form.
